I think $200-$300 is appropriate. As for the scratches... did you take the photos using a flash or in natural light? I have used plash occasionally and been amazed at how every defect is magnified. I am not suggesting hiding the scratches to deceive. However, you might try photographing the horn in more natural light. I usually take mine out on my deck in a partially shaded area. When I do that, I feel the photos more accurately show the horn the way it actually appears to me in my hands. With flash, it does the opposite.


I have owned the trumpet version of this horn and it was a very good instrument.
