you may want to check your breathing out. Successful trumpet playing needs a simple inhale and exhale - similar to a yawn - with no bump between the two states.
I suspect that you are exhaling with a fo or a shizzle, neither of which are open enough to prevent the blips or cracks that you describe.
Andrews increased pressure could just blow your throat and oral cavity wide open though.................. |
