Re: Thein Trumpets

Yes. They are very expensive. And even more because of the strong euro/weak dollar.

Robin alias "Rowuk" is not a big fan of Thein. But there are many different options of the trumpet models that even he could find one which he likes

The many variations (leadpipes, tuning slides, bells, etc) could also be a problem. If you had the chance to visit their shop in Bremen, I am sure that you would find your dreamhorn. But it´s not possible to ship all of this stuff to the US. But the Thein brothers have more than 30 years of experience in trumpets, so if you tell them what you are looking for, they will probably send you enough parts.

All I can say is give them a call or e-mail and they (probably Max) will give you a reply of what is possible.

PS: Sorry for my English. And I am not paid or get any discount by Thein (nobody gets any discount there, except Matthias Höfs ) because of my "advertisement" here. I am just a VERY satisfied consumer never who never regretted the investment
