| Re: Help with Martin Committee $50.00 ! What a score !!!!!!!!!!!!
I got my Committee Cornet for $30.00 with a mangled Getzen 300 trumpet. But, I would much rather have the trumpet anyday.
As for bore size. If you pull the 2nd valve slide and measure the interior of the slide that you just pulled out, you can determine the bore that way. Do not measure the tube that comes out of the valve block. I use a dial caliper to measure this. If you don't have one, you can pick one up cheap at one of those cheapo discount tool retailers, or any place that sells tools for machinists. You should be able to pick up a cheap one for under $20.00 . Good tool to have around, and not just for musical instruments.
Congrats, you lucky dog !!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. - I just measured mine, and it's a .453 bore.
