I truly understand your point. The financial aspect does not concern me, as much as the artistic aspect. I do wish to purchase a trumpet that will satify my playing needs for a very, very long time. In return, this scenario will also address the financial aspect, as I will not purchase another trumpet in the foreseeable future (now, a flugelhorn is another isssue ).

After debating the issue over the past few days, I skipped the intermediate trumpets and purchase a professional horn, the Jupiter 1602S-R Tribune XO Series Pro Trumpet (silver model with reverse leadpipe).

In the end, I am happy with the decision.
