I used to play a 20D2d and never felt like I was swimming and back in High School could play the darn thing for HOURS!!!

I downsized first to 1C then down to 3C and now my 43.5/B 692s from Bob Reeves. I had a 43.5/D 69 that i kept bottoming out on BADLY but now when I borrow it back I can slam the low notes with no problems at all.

So long story short....

YUP!!! Just takes time!
Yes endurance is up big time now.
