| Re: can u adjust to a mouthpiece? My question would be why do you need a smaller mouthpiece?
If I had small lips I would gladly play ona smaller mouthpiece but it just doesnt work for me.
I have big lips and even with my embouchure "fixed" so my aperture is small, I need a larger mouthpiece to keep the edges off the red of my lips and on the muscle.
I did use a Schilke 20 for a while years ago but mainly I used a Bach 1 and then downsized to the Monette 1-5. I have tried 3c and that size of rim did work but I did not have as much endurance as on the larger rim.
I also use a yamaha 16c4 occasionally, which is rather like a Bach 1 1/2c or a Monette 2.
