However, at this point it is important to draw attention to another aspect of the Butler/Geyer studio success: the quality of the students as students. If you read up on Barbara's ITG master class (

I'll never try to diminish how instrumental Butler and Geyer have been very important in their success as I have the highest respect for both of them, but if the right techniques are applied, any student, regardless of quality of teacher (although this would make it harder/easier), could in fact be as successful.
