Slowly and correctly is the go. I returned after 30 odd years, and I quite simply had to teach myself to even read music again, let alone the fingering, embouchure, stance, breathing, and the myriad of other little nuances that fighter pilots don't have to worry about - not that I will ever be a fighter pilot. Practice well and regularly - get a tutor soon. The very best of fun - luck has no part in it at all.
