| Re: Roth cornet? In addition to My buddy Dave's comments, the one in a deluxe case that he refered to is mine,#583XX. The Roth was Foster Reynolds attempt at making a"student grade' line of brass instruments. In doing so, he used the same major components and brass stock that he used in the making of his pro grade horns, just less fancy embellishments. Because of the heavy competition from other makers who actually were making much cheapened horns, Reynolds had to sell out to RMC who then, started throwing together the Abilene made Reynolds Medalist series of substandard 'instrument shaped objects' to compete in the student grade market. The horn that you ask about is actually almost an 'artist grade' horn. If you buy it I am certain that you will be pleased with it.
