Hey eveyone,
I remember seeing references to Conn 22b NY Symphony Special trumpets. I don't know if it was here, but this fits in anyway.

I was playing with my old Middle school jazz ensemble several weeks ago. There was some 7th grader in the section, with a horn that I immediately saw was an old Conn. I looked at it, and it was a 22b NY Symphony Special.
I read somewhere about how rare these are in as good of shape as this one is. The pics are ones that I snapped during a break. The lacquer is immaculate all over. The only difference that I spotted between this and a straight 22b Ny symphony was the engraving... deluxe? All the way through the bell crook.
I read some more on these horns, but I've still gotta research the serial #.
