we dont call it the pinky ring, we call it the pressure hook. i use it all the time in the no pleasure system ,but overuse of the pressure hook has been known to cause a bump in the back of the players head, so the pressure hook should be used in moderation, because pain hurts. please check back on this thread from time to time, because i am looking to post my latest innovation, the "No Water Key System for Brass Instruments". It is an innovative teaching technique, and if i can post it, you will see what i mean. more to follow.
