INDEED !
Eddie played a trumpet with reed and buttons.
Two weeks ago,the Guild (MCG) hosted a twin bill featuring Dr. Anthony Brown and Monty Alexander,respectively.

Dr.Brown's band was introduced as "The Asian American Jazz Orchestra" and a member of that orchestra played a trumpet with reed and no buttons and
if I remember correctly it was called a LABA.
It's a high pitch instrument like the bagpipe and like the bagpipe after two tunes (Amazing Grace and Scotland The Brave) it's time to move on,
moving on down the line.
