If you think hardware will help, you are playing the wrong instrument. Hardware helps range if you are playing pipe organ, not trumpet.

Range is based on how fast your lips vibrate and that is based on the physical condition of the lip tissue, the face muscles, the quality of your breathing and coordination of all of the above. NO mouthpiece change will increase range - period. A change may make your sound more suitable for a particular type of music and free up energy for other things though.

When you change mouthpieces (or horns, or girl-/boyfriends), you often change the entire geometry of your embouchure. That guarantees a drop in range. The only success stories for range are with players that EARN IT by practicing intelligently and harder.

I wonder how many trumpet players have been suckered into buying a mouthpiece because of the marketing lies about range? I know quite a few......... I hope that mouthpiece belongs to your teacher.............
