| Bach, Stravinsky, and beer in Minneapolis Ed-
I'm posting here because we briefly spoke of concerts like this in a thread a long, long time ago. Last fall, after sitting on a hard wooden pew for a marathon performance of all six Brandenburg Concerti by the St. Paul Chamber Orch, I decided to put together a group to play in a more "relaxed" setting. Thus the Dalton Street Chamber Players were born. Our first show is this Sunday at a bar in Minneapolis. We'll be doing the Second Brandenburg Concerto, as well as other smaller works. The show will open with Stravinsky's Fanfare for a New Theater. Needless to say, I'm excited. With any luck, we will have youtube videos up in the following weeks.
