| Re: Bottom Spring Valves are Really Nice My '68 Conn Director cornet served me quite well from 1972 to about 2002, when I started to buy a few trumpets. Valves were never a problem. I know that top sprung is preferred for some reason, but as long as they provide a push up, how does it matter where they push from?
