I am tending towards the Olds. I do not know how a Getzen compares to his Yamaha, but I need to take him 'round to various stores.

I think its good to be playing together.... I think that having either instrument to switch with will add to the fun, and I think they will sound good together. Now - we as players - that'l take some work, but we enjoy it!

What better way to get him to practice?

I'm gonna post a question about repairs in a new thread.
