The www.dallasmusic.org/index website is rife with errors, in regard to Martin horns. I have contacted the author / webmaster of the website, with no response. I caution any / all to be careful in treating this "information" as "gospel".

BTW -- I have one of the (mythical ?) medium large bore Committees. It's a mid-1940s horn ... a prototype ... with Renold Schilke's personal hallmarks on many of the components. It is very, very unusual (especially, the bracing) ... has several standard Committee components.
