I sincerely wish that I could give you an answer that would be meaingful, but, because we, as musicians have an infinitely variable taste pattern, I can only tell you to make whatever arrangements you must to be able to try the horn for at least three days. I know that I love mine and am dearly enamored of the valve system. If you have any questions about the Feather Touch Valve system, go to Horn-u-copia and scroll down to the York section and then click on patents. The second page of York patents will have a very complete written and drawn explanation for any and all questions that you might dream up.
