| Re: Best Flugelhorn I have played on B&H Sovereign, Getzen Eterna 4 valve, Yamaha 631 and Besson Sovereign 947, until I had the chance to test different models of Amati, Jupiter, Bach, Yamaha and Conn at the same time, with the same mouthpiece Denis Wick 4BFL, at an exhibition. I tried all the instruments over and over again, and the instrument that fell into my taste every time i touched it, was the Conn Vintage1, silverplated, because it didn't have the trombonesound as many of the others. (People often calls the horn "trombone in disguise...") I was looking for a flugel with a sound which could blend into a english style brass band, and also could be used for jazz and church seremonies. This horn suits me very well and I am happy that I bought it right there.
