Do your parametric studies with Bach mouthpieces.
Here is what my parametric study was over about 15 years.
7c 5c 5D 3C 3d.
Smaller didn't work. A few mistakes along the way with yamaha shallow cups.
Please study the bach mouthpiece manual and try to set up a plan and take time trying each mouthpiece. In five years you will be ready to pay for the Monette name. There are plenty of others to try besides Monette. I never heard the need to pay a lot for a mouthpiece.
