I don't believe that oil can make a difference soundwise. The velocity of the valves is another story. As far as modifications of bach trumpets is concerned, the best shop in Europe for that would be Spada Music AG in Burgdorf, Switzerland. It seems to me though that the original poster is an american, so this maybe not very useful to him.
