| One year later - Thank you all. One year ago today I requested prayers from you, and many of you answered. Today I would like to thank you all.
My wife, Ruth , was diagnosed with malignant melanoma May 2 of last year, and thanks be to God, she is still doing well. She is undergoing chemotherapy at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and seeing a naturopath at Bastyr. The antibodies are attacking her eyes and affecting the vision, but other than that she is free of symptoms. The scans show some shrinkage, and the tumor is visibly smaller, so we are very grateful. The doctors are not very optimistic, long term, but we have talked with others who have had this diagnosis and are still alive and well, years later. One of them is my cousin. So , as he says, the doctors don't always know as much as they may think they do.
We ask you to give Ruth a mention in your prayers.
Many thanks to you all. |
