| Once in a lifetime I went to Town Hall yesterday to hear some old friends and I was privileged to hear the performance of the "Quatuor pour la fin du temps," done by Tashi that I will remember forever.
Every musical chance they took worked. Richard Stoltzman's pianissimo playing was as close to perfection as it gets. The quartet of players were: Peter Serkin, Ida Kavafian, Fred Sherry and Richard Stoltzman are friends from The Marlboro Festival. They were magnificent. It was a once in a lifetime event.
Meeting Marian Anderson at Jimmy DePriest's house in South Philadelphia has always been a special life changing event in my life. Playing for Casals was unforgettable. Working with Lenny, meeting Diz and the others greats has been humbling.
I could go on for days about my blessings, please tell me yours.
