Re: Possegger/Galileotrumpets

I had the pleasure of meeting Anton Possegger when he first came to NYC to negotiate his distribution deal with NYTC. A friend of Possegger's contacted me for a lesson. At the lesson , I noticed the really cool looking trumpet that the gentleman had.....it was a Possegger. I played it at the lesson.....great horn indeed. After the lesson, Possegger came by the studio to pick up his friend and then I had a chance to try out a couple more.

These horns are assembled beautifully.....no cheapo slap together job....we're talking world class trumpet construction. The valves are either German or Austrian.....top shelf stuff!

These horns are in tune and have a wonderful broad sound.

I've stated in several posts in the past that I'm a Stomvi guy, but that doesn't mean that I don't complement horns from other manufacturers. A great horn is a great horn.

PeaceRV
