Re: Asymmetric opinion

Ken,

Our friend on the the forum here, NickD, plays the Assymetrics exclusively and he's AWESOME with it. I'm a comeback player and I have an assymetric, I've tried it a few times, but right now I'm playing a Jet-tone MF (yeah, the one that looks like a funnel).

I found the Assymetric to be decent in the upper range, but getting it to work for me in the lower range was difficult. But I will admit, I've not given it the total dedication it deserves. I also believe there are numerous variables here that only you can sort out: your embrochure, your sound, what kind of playing do you want to do?

The one thing I've learned here is: embrochures are like opinions, eveybody has there own.

Give it your best shot. If it works for you, great. If not, there's certainly a huge selection of mouthpieces out there.

Good luck,
Steve
