hey sorry for the late responce i've been really busy. i ment i'm screwed because i got the horn a few days before i came herer ot ghana to teach, and theres no where to take it into to get cleaned out of just explained to me. it'd be a lot easiser to explain if i could get a picture up. I've cleaned my horn out VERY well, so i'm really really clueless to whats going on. the "lips" are on the bottom part of the valve in between the first and second holes from the top. i dont mean the horned has screwd me that was deinatly not the right word to use. I played a old strad for about 4 years and was very happy with it, and this strad plays alright, it works which is enough for me i'm not to picky when it comes to horn, i was just disapointed that this valve has to be oiled every time i pick up my horn....
