In my times, the NYC subway ride was for reading and catching up on events around the world except for the summer months when the eye balls were focused on chicks in their summer wear including HOT PANTS on the IRT (#3 & 4 Flatbush trains) with connection at Atlantic Avenue where the D-Train brought them out of Coney Island & Prospect Park.

Those were the days when one quickly learned not to chase a train or a beautiful chick as there is another one comin' .

Curtis Mayfield was on to somethin' when he penned the song "People Get Ready, the Train is Comin',don't need no baggage, just get on board........."
