| Re: Your Personal Repertoire, part deux For me, there are a few pieces I would be interested in learning from the current repertoire.
Scelsi, Quattro Pezzi
Takemitsu, Paths
Berio, Sequenza X (a long term goal)
Other than these, I'm most actively interested in collaborating with friends/composers on new pieces for the horn. I have much more in common (as a 23 year old in 2008) with pieces from the people I live with and around (as opposed to the berio--not to say that I'm not crazy about the piece---its great).
That being said, there are a plethora of pieces I'm psyched to play that have not been written yet. They have been discussed over beer, and are for trumpet with percussion, or electronics, or ensembles, or desert soundscape.
