Good god TotalEclipse that second photo is just as frightening as the first.

I could tell a story about toads like that.. the largest cane toads I have ever seen were in a small town 1.5 hours outside of brisbane. My boyfriend (at that time) and I decided to go for a night time picnic. We spend the day driving around mount glorious.. The night was warm and we found a little park outside of Esk, to lay down our blanket and enjoy a nice glass of wine and eat our food (and yes I must confess ... have a little snog after we finished)..

No sooner had we sat down .. these bloody great cane toads appeared ... They had circled us and were closing in... It was like something out of an Alford Hitchcock movie... We tried to discourage them to no avail ...

We ended up seeking refuge on some near by BBQ tables ( I mean we were sitting on the tables.. not the chairs).. They still kept coming and we ended up having to leave .. food not even touched .. wine unopened ... It was a horrible ending to a lovely day..
