Just to let you know, the concert was a great success. Big audience, including the Italian ambassador. No major errors. All the trumpets sounded great together.

I am a bit out of the loop with Trumpetmaster because I have so many performances and rehearsals this month.

Tonight its the Telemann concerto for trumpet and two oboes (again) plus Haydn Clock Symphony and a few smaller pieces including the overture to Alfred by Thomas Arne (who also wrote Rule Brittania).

Next week I have Franck Symphony in D minor and Chabrier Espana, so its going to be a long week of blowing.
