I bought a Conn Director Cornet back in 1989 for $25. And just recently picked a sweet Yamaha 6320S with LOTS of extras for $125.

Plus I got a Bach Student horn for free. A friend just wanted it out of the garage. I gave that one to a 4th grade beginner, to use until she made a decision to keep playing and upgrade. She's doing pretty good and is scheduled for summer band camp this year. Glad I could help.

I bought a flute once for $10, but it needed pads which cost around $100. And... I found nice Conn French Horn for my sister down in New Orleans for $100.

Now, I working on a Olds Ambass, which belonged to my wifes grandfather, we'll see if the cousin wants to part with it. It was an old U.S. Navy horn.
