Why not just put it on ebay and see? That's the plan right? Folks here aren't going to be able to help you nail down the Buy-it-Now price without thoroughly checking it out in person. If you aren't able to do that as a player yourself, you are unlikely to accurately say the things players look for to fetch that top price.
Perhaps I am incorrect in my assumption, but I see this pattern a lot... First-time posters probe these forums and then borrow phrases from it or refer potential ebayers to the forum where everybody raves about the horn.
I hope I am incorrect and you are just wanting to make sure all the grandkids are getting equal values in the inheritance, or whatever. But gosh... if all you are iterested in is "worth" do a search on ebay for what these things have historically sold for. The horn is only worth the sound that comes out of it (and by that standard, even my Bach 37 ain't worth a whole lot :P) |
