No, that's not me Claude. I'm here in Balto, last name of Priddy. I may well try to get some people together and start a Shop though. Course, it sounds like Eastman's already partly accomplished my reasoning for attempting it. An inexpensive high dollar sound seems to be their facility to the T.
As it is, i sure understand not wanting to ruin a piece of equipment. And no question in my mind cryo. would 'alter' the horn, if done right. Which could easily be a bad thing depending on somebody's subjective ear and wants of playability. I read here in a cryogenic thread that the valves get super fast, and might not add up for a lot of players. Which comes to the fact that Eastman's student horn is a better sound for you. That's very cool stuff! My meaning's that i'm just now starting to get that Trumpets arun't necessarily limited by build circumstance.
