I have a silver trumpet. His name is Silver Skeeter. You can also call him Skeeter for short. My trumpet is a boy. Skeeter’s piston valve is encased with valve oil so it doesn’t get stuck with the tube that holds it. The insides of Skeeter’s tuning slides are covered in Vaseline. That is so that the tuning slides move easily in the tubes that encase them, but not too quickly. He is slightly tarnished, but I still love him very much. Skeeter also dons a few colorful ribbons on him. Skeeter wears a black leather strap around the three piston valve casings. He sports a Bach 7c mouthpiece. There is also another mouthpiece: the Bach 3c, but I seldom use it. His house is a case that is from ProTec. A strait mute can also be slipped into his flared bell. Skeeter also has a cloth that I can use to wipe him with and ensure that he does not tarnish or get dirty anymore.
If I could have any trumpet, I would want a red trumpet. My favorite is red, so that is why I would want a red trumpet. Also, red trumpets look pretty cool to me.
