Smile Hello everyone.

Well,i guess i will start at the beginning.i am in my mid 40s and,i have always had the urge to make music in some form or another.
My father had played the saxophone when he was younger and, then with the wife and kids he forgot about it i guess.

So i always loved music and, wanted to be a part of it.so i started with piano--but it didnt take long to realise it wasnt for me.in junior high i played french horn in the orchestra, but with no real enthusiasm.i tried lead then bass guitar.i loved the bass.i still pick it up,every now and, then.

Oneday im over ny brothers and,he breaks out this -JAZZ ICONS -dvd series that he has and,we watch louie armstrong, coltrane, dizzy, monk.

AND THATS IT.I WANNA PLAY THE TRUMPET.

So i stop at a few pawn shops in the coming weeks.finally i get a horn.a beat up bundy.its terrifically hard to play.but i have the bug now,so i start buying horns on EBAY.
When i get my first ebay horn, its ten times easier to play than the bundy.now i firgure out,it wasnt me,there is something wrong with the bundy.anyway,i have a nice little collection of used and, vintage horns now, which i have acquired in the last 6 months.

Some were bargains and,2 needed valve jobs when i got the horn.thats the nature of buying sight unseen i guess.
I have a cousenon lafayette which plays so easily and sounds really good.
areally nice 1925 tru tone buescher.which i cant get the best out of yet.
a cleveland american standard, which surprised me with how nice of a horn it is.
a nice benge,which has a sound that i like.
and the horn that has bought me here, AMERICAN PREP,WM.FRANK,CHICAGO.
Ijust saw it and, figured i would take a chance,it wasnt a lot of money.this is a great horn. i like it better than my benge and,the benge was the horn i splurged on
SO i came to find out about the william frank company and,be with my fellow trumpet enthusiast .well i guess thats enough intro.so i think i will look around now. thanks folks.
