It shouldn't be much because the TR300 already has a tuning slide brace and a first slide ring (at least mine does, though it shouldn't be more than 50 bucks for an appropriate slide). The leadpipe and installation shouldn't be to expensive either.
A note about the leadpipe, ask the repair technician to let you try the leadpipe first before you have him put it on permanently. The 43 is not for everyone. Neither is the standard #25 or any other leadpipe (that's why there are so many). Find one you like and go with it. This will also help you choose which Strad you want to get (if you choose that route) because then you will know the specs of what you want.
