The patent date might be 1911, but, the serial number will tell the date of manufacture. If the bell logo is stamped with a Wisconsin address, it was surely made after 1921. If that address is Chicago,Ill. it 'perhaps' was made before 1921. Many completed and engraved parts and assemblies were shipped from Chicago to the new plant in Wisconsin. Go to Horn-U-Copia.net and refer to the Holton segment, where serial number dates can be found.
