yup. The same stuff that works in frying pans is perfectly suitable for tuning slide, nat bows........... Some work has to be done on the diameter of the tubing because a teflon coating is not super thin. No grease necessary ever again.

I wouldn't do this with a valved trumpet because some could scratch off and find its way into the valves.......................
