My son bought me a USB turntable and I've been recording some records from my collection. I have 2000 jazz recordings, having collected jazz records since high school (I'm now in my early 50's). I just recorded three of Red Rodney's recordings, and I've fallen in love with his sound all over again. He'd be amazed that I can now listen to his playing on my Iphone or in the car. I've also just added three Horace Silver records and two Ruby Braff sides to my Itunes library. What GREAT technology we have!!
