The bell is marked B and J Serenader. It came in a very old case which smells pretty musty, but is in pretty good shape. All I could find on this was one photo and that the name B and J stands for Buegeleisen and Jacobson. It is marked 1892 on the end by the mouthpiece. It is a gold color, except for the mouthpiece which is a silver color. There are a few dents & dings and needs a good cleaning.

There are 3 valves and the tops have mother of pearl. They are marked 1, 2, & 3 on one side and number 2212 on valve 2 on the other side. It also looks as if it has been fixed/welded in one area.

Can anyone give me any info and/or approximate value of this? I don't want to rip someone off or ask too much, but I don't want to sell myself short either.

Here are a few images of it.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
Well, hate to burst your bubble but I actually have the "De luxe" version of the Serenader with an original Italian mouthpiece marked "Cantabile." It is a nice looking trumpet but it is NOT a good playing horn. It might have some value as a "collectible," but no one will buy it as a playing instrument. Mine even has a "corrugated" finish (multiple indentations as a design) I have it on my fireplace mantle as a "visual curiosity."
