I posted the cornet I play way back at the beginning of this thread. When I play trumpet, this is it. A 1977 Bach Strad ML 37 that's had the bell replaced with a 43 from the same era. A side benefit of that mod is any manufacturing stresses were relieved in the process of the switch. It also has the optional 3rd valve slide water key and brass weights soldered inside the bottom valve caps. I've had this trumpet for 20+ years and it's a great player. I don't even look at other Bb trumpets - this one is a keeper.
