Re: Pocket Trumpets

You guys have no idea! The big difference is in your head! Pocket trumpets rule!

My $200 chinese pocket trumpet works just fine. I used it once in a quintet rehearsal though. My chops only lasted about an hour. If I am just playing alone, it is fine. When using it in an ensemble you really feel the difference. No projection, no "fatness", no fun.

I think I will just use it for the reason that I bought it for: to have a trumpet that will go where no trumpet has gone before. It is there to practice in hotel rooms and on vacation.
