I'm looking for a used Xeno in excellent condition for my high school-aged son whose private teacher has recommend he step up from his student horn.

He has played a number of new horns -- Strads, Xenos, a couple Cannonballs and a few others. The Xeno with the reverse lead is his overall favorite.

Let me know if you have a Xeno that needs a new home.

I am selling a Bach Stradivarius 43* Bb Trumpet made around 1975. Serial no. is 134907. The valves have recently been rebuilt by Charlie Melk, as well as an extended 3rd slide catch, a new first slide saddle, and a custom rounded tuning slide. This horn still plays great, and has no holes or leaks in it. Great for lead or commercial work, or even as an all-around horn. It still has the original plating, so there is wear in certain areas of the horn where it has been held. There are some scratches in the finish, but it still looks really good considering its age.

Includes the trumpet only, no case included. Flat rate shipping with insurance included.

I have a 1950 King Liberty trumpet that plays great!!! Pistons look almost like new and have great compression. Lacquer is at about 80%, but has been redone at some point in its life as the engraving on the bell is faint and some parts of it are almost non existant. This was the Gold Lacquer version. It has top sprung valves that are super fast. Comes with the original case that is beat to heck, but works just fine and still has the key. The only thing that is wrong with it is the bell needs reworked. It is not bad at all and can be rolled out very easily. Asking $300 for it plus shipping from 43160. I would love to keep it, but I have a son that just started band and is playing the saxophone despite the fact that he could play the entire C major scale the first time he held a trumpet in his hands. I will post pics to photobucket later and leave the link sometime today.

Bach Strad Bb trumept from around 1976-1977 featuring:

Serial number 1248XX
Lightweight 37 bell
Lacquer finish
Reverse leadpipe

This horn is in very nice shape, and it PLAYS! The lightweight bell on this horn just makes it SING. It is a nice, open horn, and the valves are like lightning, I kid you not. All of the slides are clean and work fabulously. This horn has been played a lot in its past, but it has been very well taken care of. There is lacquer wear on normal contact points and elsewhere on the horn. The lacquer has taken on a very nice dark color that only these vintage Bach trumpets get, so I decided to leave the finish and let the buyer decide if they wanted to strip the lacquer down or not. There is a small patch on the second valve slide as shown in the photo that is not very noticeable and does not inhibit the playing qualities of this horn at all. The valves align EXTREMELY well, and did I mention that they are FAST valves? If I currently needed a Bb to replace the horn my parents bought me years ago, I would keep this horn. The 37 bell ML Bach Stradivarius trumpets are renowned as the best all around horns, and the lightweight version of the bell gives the horn some extra character that I really enjoy. I would have no reservations playing this horn in a band, orchestra (if I played Bb in orchestra!) or in a jazz ensemble on lead or a lower part. This horn plays well in the upper register for me as well. Did I mention that I REALLY like this horn?!?!

Ships with a hard case. It's not a Bach case but is in very nice shape and does a great job of protecting the horn.

Listed on eBay with a starting price of $600 and a buy-it-now price of $975 and $25. $50 discount to any trumpetmaster.com or trumpetherald.com member who uses buy-it-now and tells me their username on check-out!

I am an undergrad performance trying to work my way up to affording a Schilke piccolo of my very own, I have been buying/selling items and reinvesting my (small) profits for the past few months. If you need a good Bb consider this one and help me achieve my goal of having a piccolo trumpet of my very own. You won't be disappointed with the horn, and you would make my day :-)

I've been trying to sell my High School trumpet for quite a while now and wanted to see if anybody is interested on this site. It is a F. Schmidt MK37sLTD Bb Trumpet. It is in like-new condition, as I've only used it on select occasions such as UIL, competitions, concerts, etc. I am asking for $1,500 but I would be willing to negotiate that. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price on these, brand new is $2,800, and are only imported in the United States, from Germany, by Brook Mays, so this trumpet is a rare piece and considered to be on the same level as the Bach 180-37 Stradivarius, yet more affordable. PM me if you are at all interested, have any questions, or want to see pictures, even if you throw a ridiculous price at me, if you are interested, take a shot. Again, this horn is in excellent condition, plays beautifully, and is perfect for any advanced player.
