![]() | Re: TrumpetMaster.com finds a new Home Nick, TM doesn't "want" an American only website. What you don't realize is that the artists in residence here have one thing in common: at least one other artist knows them personally. This is important because when someone is invited by another artist, it's nice to have the personal connection. That we all happen to be Americans is coincidental. What is most important is to have people that can offer the readers something unique and that there is a nice comaraderie between the artists. I can say this: TM is what it is for right now. One day that may change. It has changed VERY much in the short time I've been here. For all I know, Sergei Najakarov may decide to buy the rights to the site tomorrow. Nothing is written in stone and TM is still a work in progress. It changes all the time. Perhaps this would be a good time for a group of Bulgarians to put together a similar website if they don't already exist. It would be a kick to check it out even if the majority of us couldn't read the language it would still be kind of fun. I know that there a few Spanish language trumpet sites. Keruoac (a member here) wrote me to invite me to be on it but I never have enough time to be on it regularly, you see? Besides, I get intimidated because my grammar and vocabulary are not great. Anyway, a few ideas for you. ML |

![]() | Re: TrumpetMaster.com finds a new Home I went to the Russian site. That was fun! I clicked on the video and found the performer to have a nice sound and technic on the piccolo. It also showed the value of not rushing through the tuning and making sure it's right before you proceed. If he had come out and not checked he would have had a tough time relaxing, I think. Thanks for that. Do they have an artist's forum? ML |

| Mezzo Piano User | Re: TrumpetMaster.com finds a new Home Really nice playing on the video. Does anyone know the piece? I am not at all familiar with picc pieces or classical pieces for that matter. I need to remedy that.
