| Pianissimo User | All-State Transpositions??? I just received my all-state audition music. The pieces include "Dance Overture," by Paul Creston, "Die Meistersinger," for C trumpet, and the Romeo and Juliet Suite, for B??? Is the point of this audition to see if I can transpose? If so, this will literally take hours. I have never heard of a part for trumpet in B. Could anyone with any insight on my situation give any suggestions on what to do? Thanks--Jared

| Pianissimo User | I just played along with a recording of Romeo and Juliet and I guess that B means the same as Bb... That doesnt make the other pieces any easier though..... Jared
