Arturo Sandoval concert!!! wooohoohoo!!!
Hi everybody,
I do not know if this is the most appropriate sub-forum but I'll post it here.
I just came back from Arturo Sandoval's concert in Rijeka. It was amazing. What a show! What a performance! Amazing!
Besides they are great musicians Arturo and the guys are such a nice people. There was no problem getting autographs and even photographs. Such a nice and friendly person. I am amazed.

Bye Arturo! You and the guys you gave me such a wonderful time, concert was great I will remember this for my whole life.
Thank you! Bye!
(Sorry guys if I'm being pathetic, but I'm just overwhelmed ATM)

To say Arturo is great musician is a huge understatement! He's truly incredible-and that's before even talking about his piano or percussion playing. Certainly one of a kind :)

Are we sure he is mortal? Sandavol is simply very versatile and amazing. Defintely, one of the tops in my book.

Re: Arturo Sandoval concert!!! wooohoohoo!!!
I'm extremely jealous. I have wanted to hear Arturo live for years.
I live in a town about 45 minutes north of Nashville, but we don't take the Nashville paper. My friends are forever telling me how great concerts are the day after instead of letting me know the day before. I missed Arturo that way a couple of years ago.

I had the honor of playing in a big band in Fresno, CA a few years ago backing him up. He played his ass off on trumpet, piano and timbales and was a very nice person as well.

No need to be jealous, he is on tour,.... go!
If you want, I saw him at a FREE outdoor festival on Music Row in Nashville.
Something to be jealous about!

Hey Tim - if I remember correctly Arturo said he was mortal in his last post here on TM - so if it's on TM it must be true.
(How're coping with married life BTW? Wait till you've seen out 33 years - it's still good, but you have to stay focussed - have you argued about the dunny seat/lid yet?).

Re: Arturo Sandoval concert!!! wooohoohoo!!!
I know Arturo is mortal, it's just amazing how great he is. I would LOVE to be a fly on teh wall in a practice session. Seems so efficient. I have a reording of him playing "colors of the moon" (one of the songs off of Disney's Pocahontas movie) and it's incredible HA!
How am I coping with married life? The "married life" part is WONDERFUL, it's the "not having a job" part that is stressing me out. Can't afford to break the lease to go find a job somewhere else either, yet. We have yet to argue about anything... we nver really argued when we were dating or engged either... It'll happen sooner or later I'm sure, but I'm not worried about it. We are both pretty level headed adults.
