| BBC Proms - Prom 54 - 24th August 2006 http://www.bbc.co.uk/proms/whatson/2408.shtml#prom54 Manny - do my eyes deceive me, or would this be a chance for us Brits to hear you playing Mahler 5? If so, time to spread the word. How long are you over here for? It would be nice to actually meet you this time. |

| Forte User | Whoa...Manny and Dawn Upshaw on the same stage...THAT would be a night to remember. I'm a bit jealous of you Brits for having that so close to you! |

| Well, I have been talking about this for a while but yes, the trip to Europe looms large, finally. I'm looking forward to it and meeting TMers from that part of the world will be part of my joy. Sadly, I'll only be in London proper for that day and we go to Edenborough the next day where I hope to meet a few of the Scots that grace the site here like Gordon H. and David MacNiven if it's not far.
