Bent Trumpet

Friday night was the annual swing dance at my school, where I've been playing at for the past 3 years. I brought my old trumpet (not my Xeno) to the gig, as I usually do. Well, about halfway through the gig, it was time for a 15-minutes break. Some bozo knocked into me, and I dropped my horn. The side brace for the bell had snapped off, and the bell was bent upward about 30º. I was in shock.

I immediately picked it up, and my face turned red, because a couple of people were watching as it fell.

Well, it turns out that (amazingly) I can play higher on this bent monstrosity than I ever could, even on my Xeno.

I guess the moral of the story is that good things can come from accidents.

I'll post a picture if anyone wants to see it.

Maybe "you know who" is trying to reach you from beyond the grave

Well obviously, from what ive seen id say about a good 12 inches higher!
