About a year ago I bought a Martin Handcraft Committee form eBay member cacalacci (aka Robert Rowe). I made the dumb mistake of going off eBay to make the deal because of his high eBay rating, so much for ratings. The pictures were fuzzy and he claimed to not be a good photographer. When I got the horn it had a patch all the way aroung the bell bow, the valves are from another Martin horn and the tunning slide is most likely from an Imperial. I emailed him asking him to make things right, he refused and blamed me. I sent the horn to Charlies Brass Works, he aggreed the horn was a mismatch of parts, he emailed Mr. Rowe asking him to make things right, he refused. I've emailed him asking for help finding parts, no replie. I can get the horn playable for $600 and I've emailed Mr. Rowe asking for help paying for the repairs, of course no replie.
I'll own up for my misplaced trust, it would be nice if Mr. Rowe would man-up and make things right after knowingly screwing me.
